What is GeneGlobe advanced search?

GeneGlobe's advanced search tools are designed to make your research journey faster, easier and more precise. Whether you're searching for products, panels or biological knowledge, these tools help you find exactly what you need.

The Products tab lets you narrow down results with powerful filters – species, application (like NGS, dPCR, qPCR, etc.), analyte type (DNA, RNA/lncRNA, miRNA), product format and more. You can even compare products side by side to make confident decisions.

With the Panel Finder, you’ll discover PCR and NGS panels containing your targets of interest, complete with compatibility details and full specifications to guide your choice.

Looking for deeper insights? The Knowledge tab connects you to information on genes, miRNAs, signaling pathways and interactions, helping you explore targets and save them to a Biolist for future queries. GeneGlobe’s advanced search tools are here to simplify your workflow and keep your research moving forward.

Common questions about GeneGlobe searches

Find answers to common questions about GeneGlobe searches, including tips for refining search results, using filters, saving searches and troubleshooting issues like typos or unavailable products. Optimize your search experience with these helpful FAQs

If you're not seeing any search results, try the following:

Search by product name (e.g., "QuantiNova Cell Death").
Use gene/transcript identifiers (e.g., CYCE2, ENSG00000146648, NM_005228).
Search by applications or technologies (e.g., PCR, inhibitor).
Double-check your spelling.
Broaden your search by using fewer or more general terms. Our search uses an "all terms must match" approach – adding more specific terms may narrow the results too much.
Use extended search capabilities. For example, to exclude specific terms from your search, add a minus sign before the term you want to omit (e.g., -RNA).

Our product availability is updated regularly. In most cases, older products are replaced by newer or improved versions, and the previous ones may no longer be offered. If you're looking for a specific product, please reach out to us using the contact option below for assistance.

Due to the specialized nature of biological terms (e.g., gene symbols, bioentity IDs and taxonomies), we do not auto-correct user input. If you don’t see results, please double-check your query for accuracy.

Filters are not displayed if there is only one value to show. For example, if your search results include only assays, a "Product Type" filter won’t appear.

Currently, you can copy and paste the search results URL to revisit your results later. In the future, we’ll introduce a feature that will allow you to:

Save your search results as a file.
Share a limited list of selected products with another user, rather than sharing the full search results.
